Terms of Service

Thank you for using MatchNight ("the Service"). MatchNight is a quiet and sincere application designed to help you check when your favorite football players appeared in recent and upcoming matches—without exposing you to match scores or spoilers.

By creating an account or using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Please read them carefully.

MatchNight provides appearance-related information for professional football players.

The Service offers the following subscription plans:

• Free Plan
• 11-Player Plan
• 33-Player Plan
• 55-Player Plan

Paid plans are billed through Stripe Billing and managed entirely within the application.

MatchNight intentionally hides match scores and standings to allow users to follow players without spoilers.

To use the Service, you must create an account through Supabase Auth (email + password or Magic Link).

You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.1 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe Billing.

MatchNight does not store or process credit card information.

3.2 Taxes

Prices shown are base prices. For users in Japan, consumption tax is added. Users outside Japan are not subject to tax.

3.3 Plan Changes

• Free → Paid: processed via Stripe Checkout
• Paid → Paid: handled automatically by Stripe
• Paid → Free: subscription is canceled within the app

3.4 Refunds

Refunds follow Stripe's standard refund policies.

MatchNight does not provide additional refunds except where required by law.

You may use MatchNight only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or modify the Service
• Use the Service for unauthorized scraping or data extraction
• Interfere with the Service's operation

• Free Plan: stored locally in your browser (up to 11 players)
• 11-Player Plan: stored in Supabase (up to 11 players)
• 33-Player Plan: stored in Supabase (up to 33 players)
• 55-Player Plan: stored in Supabase (up to 55 players)

For users on the Free Plan, Favorite Players are stored only in your browser's local storage. This data is not saved to our servers and is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity (TTL) or when you log out.

MatchNight stores the following data:

• Account information
• Favorite players
• User profile
• Logs
• LocalStorage data (Free Plan only)

Data is handled in accordance with:

• The Privacy Policy
• The Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) of Japan

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

When you delete your account:

• Your Supabase account and stored data are permanently removed
• Your Stripe subscription is automatically canceled

This action cannot be undone.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

MatchNight relies on third-party data providers for match schedules, player information, and related metadata. Therefore:

• Data accuracy, completeness, and update timing cannot be guaranteed
• MatchNight is not responsible for delays, omissions, or inaccuracies caused by third-party sources

MatchNight also uses league names, team names, and team icons solely for informational and descriptive purposes. Such use does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchNight is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data
• Inaccuracies in third-party data
• Service interruptions or technical issues

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Japan.
